Job Title : Physician Hematology / Oncology (Hematology focus)
Job Type : Locum Tenens

Service Setting : Hospital, Infusion Center, Outpatient
Coverage Type : Clinical + Call (required)
Coverage Period : 6 Months - Ongoing
Clinical Shift Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
On-Call Shift Schedule : Evenings and weekends as required
Call Type : Beeper
Call Ratio : Variable
Call Response Time : 30 minutes (expected)
Callback Rate : TBD COVERAGE DATES
Start : 09 / 26 / 2025
End : 6 months (with possible extensions)

Case Mix : Hematology (malignant required), Medical Oncology, Infusion coverage

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department : 590 (hospital)

Trauma Level : Level 1

EMR System : Epic

Office Equipment Available : Standard oncology and infusion support

Specialty Backup Available : Hematology, Oncology, other specialties available within hospital system

Support Staff Available : APPs during daytime (hematology and oncology); no APP support for call or weekends

Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage due to inpatient and call needs

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

Temporary Privileges Available : Yes, emergency privileges available with clean file

Credentialing Timeline : 90 days if licensed; 120 days if license is required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate : $593.75 / hour

Call Compensation : Separate call, night call, and 24-hour call rates available (contact account manager for details)

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Licenses : Active MN license required; IMLC accepted
