Respiratory Therapist – Travel Assignment\n\nLocation : Aspirus Langlade Hospital – Antigo, WI\nContract Length : 13 weeks\nStart Date : ASAP\nGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week\nRadius Rule : 50-mile rule (expires 11 / 27)\n\nShift & Scheduling\n\nShift : 12-hour variable days / nights\n\nWeekends : Every other weekend\n\nHolidays : As needed\n\nOn Call / Call Back : Not applicable\n\nFloat Requirements : \nRespiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas, including : \n\nEmergency Department\n\nOB (live births attended)\n\nGeneral care units\n\nCertifications & Requirements\n\nRequired Certifications : \n\nAHA BLS\n\nACLS\n\nNRP\n\nNBRC RRT\n\nLicense : Active Wisconsin RT license required\n\nEducation : Associate Degree\n\nExperience : \n\nMinimum 2 years required\n\nPrevious travel experience preferred\n\nUnit-Specific Skills\n\nRespiratory care across all age groups\n\nCritical care & ventilator management\n\nPatient assessment using Assess & Treat Protocols\n\nEmergency response : Rapid Response, Code Blue\n\nC-section assistance (NRP)\n\nSupport for ED, OB, and general units\n\nStrong work ethic, adaptable to change, team-oriented\n\nDress Code\n\nClosed-toe shoes\n\nScrubs (any color)\n\nClean appearance\n\nNo smoking or scents permitted\n\nAdditional Notes\n\nGSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week.\n\nTraveler is guaranteed weekly hours except for holidays when the unit is closed.\n\nContract includes 36 hours of unbillable low-census allowance : \n\nTravelers may be placed on call for low census.\n\nOn-call hours count toward the 36 unbillable hours.\n\nIf called back, call-back pay will apply.
