Quality Control Clerk
This person will join AP&G's quality team to ensure adherence of our Quality Management System. AP&G's main objective is to achieve customer satisfaction through innovative, dependable, high value products. To achieve this goal, we are committed to reviewing our customers' satisfaction through continuously monitoring our manufacturing process, our raw materials, customer feedback, and non-conformances.
Ensuring that items produced meet AP&G and its customer specifications.
Perform inspections across all stages of production for raw materials and finished goods.
Perform random inspections on inventory, returns, and imported items.
Develop and maintain inspection and waste control reports.
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
Analyzing data to identify potential quality issues and communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
Compiling data and computing percent of scrap, rework, returns, etc.
Identifying and resolving system or paperwork discrepancies
Assisting in physical and cycle count inventories
Performing other duties as assigned

This position works in a manufacturing / warehouse setting and while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. They may also be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud. This role also uses standard equipment such as manual pallet jacks, box cutters, tape dispensers, as well as data entry in computer.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.
