Product Manager

As the Product Manager, you will lead the management and development of the platform's supplier portfolio, including accommodations, activities, car rentals, and airlines. You'll ensure the travel product offering remains competitive, consistent, and aligned with the company's quality standards as it grows. This role blends strategy, creativity, and relationship management. You'll collaborate across sales, marketing, customer experience, and tech to strengthen how travel products are presented, integrated, and experienced by customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding of hotels, lodges, activity providers, and transport suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts to secure favorable commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships.
- Grow and refine the product portfolio in line with business strategy.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers, attending trade shows and conferences.
- Partner with sales teams to develop compelling trip packages and equip them with supplier insights to boost conversions.
- Develop and deliver supplier training initiatives such as workshops, eLearning modules, and familiarization trips.
- Facilitate internal knowledge sharing to deepen team understanding of destinations and partners.
- Oversee and enhance supplier and destination content across all digital platforms, including websites, quoting tools, and training materials.
- Work closely with leadership across marketing, product, CX, tech, and sales to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Tourism, or a related field.2+ years' experience in the travel industry (marketing, product, or operations).Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a structured, proactive approach.Strong critical thinker who challenges processes and drives improvement.Excellent relationship builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience using CRMs or project management tools.Passion for travel especially African destinations and a willingness to travel for supplier visits and team meetups.Benefits
