Regulatory Analyst (Hybrid | Contract-to-Perm possibility)

  • ?? Midland, TX area preferred
  • ?? Mon–Fri | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • ??? Hybrid : 2 days in-office, 3 days remote

Join a team supporting vital oil and gas operations across Texas.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Analyst to ensure compliance with mineral lease provisions and maintain accurate well records. This full-time contract role offers the potential to transition into a permanent position.

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor operator compliance and track key regulatory documents (e.g., RRC forms).
  • Maintain well data related to drilling, completions, commingling, and more.
  • Communicate regularly with operators to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
  • Issue penalty invoices for non-compliance.
  • Educate and support operators on data requirements and system use.

    • What You Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent oil & gas / land experience.
  • 5+ years' experience with Texas oil & gas regulatory forms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the Texas Railroad Commission a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    • This is a hybrid role — candidates must be able to work onsite 2 days / week. Preference given to those in Midland or surrounding areas.
