Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Accounting Services, you will support the office, accounting services team, and Project Management team by providing contract specialist functions. You will work alongside accounting, project management, and operations to monitor and set up bids / contracts.

Schedule : Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Location : Diehl Rd, Naperville, IL

What You'll Do

  • Create / monitor bids & contracts in our bid / contract management site
  • Ensure proper documentation has been received and outstanding approvals have been completed for upcoming bids / contracts to meet compliance requirements
  • Establish executed contracts in SAP for the operations & accounting teams
  • Aid operations in extending access to contracts for payroll purposes
  • Assist in requesting for Bonds & Certificates of Insurance for upcoming projects.
  • Cross train and work with team members as needed with daily workflow, namely accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Communicate and confirm information with the appropriate business leaders
  • Create weekly reports and assist with audit requests
  • Identify unusual / unclear contract information to discuss with managers
  • Other task as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Prior experience reviewing contracts
  • Tech savvy to learn new computer applications and software quickly; SAP and / or SucessFactors

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Legal Stuff
