Job Summary :

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our HQ located in San Jose, CA. TPM acts as the main interface with a key technology partner and is responsible for overall joint project execution, risk and schedule management. TPM will work closely with R & D, product managers, production, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure overall technical design and production quality meet customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to identify and collect requirements for new product.
• Build, manage, and implement comprehensive long-term programs, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and establishing progress checkpoints, and is able to anticipate and manage risks associated with change through appropriate prioritization.
• Work with mechanical and hardware design teams to find creative solutions to hard problems, and co-develop solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Lead planning with key internal teams on capacity demands with engineering roadmaps.
• Translate program requirements into basis of design documents.
• Bring together team members and foster a collaborative approach to delivery while holding team members accountable to action items and timelines.
• Document and communicate risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment in order to understand program limitations.

Qualifications :

Salary Range

$150,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
