FLSA Status : Hourly Non-exempt position

Full Time

Reports to :   Foreman

Job Purpose :   Work alongside, lead and motivate labor crew to ensure timely completion and accomplishment of target objectives

Job Duties :

• Motivate labor crew to ensure continuous work and accomplishment of objectives
• Ensure labor crew’s safety at all times
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed to ensure tools are functional at all times
• Coordinate labor crew’s activities with foreman and superintendent
• Perform same duties as labor crew including all manual labor required
• Conduct training of pushers to ensure quality work at all times
• Work with crew to perform cleanup duties around work area
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications :   High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience required.  Field experience and knowledge of pipeline construction.  Good leadership skills required. Attention to detail, initiative, and reliability.  Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred.

The work is performed outdoors on the jobsite where the employee will be exposed to extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment can be extreme on the jobsite.

Work Hours :    Work hours are generally a regular work week of 40 hours; however, exact hours to work each day may vary as required.
