The Outpatient Laboratory Staffing Coordinator is responsible for personnel / site coverage management and mobile patient appointment scheduling. Responsible for answering incoming calls and making outbound calls (both to patients and employees) to ensure accurate scheduling of patient's mobile lab appointments, patient service center coverage for employee unscheduled absence call offs and the outpatient lab department's employee work schedules.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS :
Sitting for up to 8 hours / day, multiple hours at a time; In a typical workday, the manual dexterity and ability to use fingers / hands for repetitive action would include frequent fingering for computer use, data entry, etc. Sensory requirements necessary to perform essential functions in a typical workday include the ability for touching, hearing normal conversation, and seeing with general vision.
EDUCATION :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree, or equivalent critical thinking / problem-solving training preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE :
Prior customer experience preferred. Prior experience with EPIC, Teams and scheduling resources applications preferred.
