Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient assignment in Colorado, requiring a CO PT license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an outpatient rehabilitation therapy clinic
  • Patient diagnoses are varied, offering diverse caseloads
  • Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with weekdays varying and includes a Saturday shift
  • Assignment is for 13 weeks
  • Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and caregivers
  • Position focuses on improving patients’ strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
  • No local candidates are accepted due to radius rule
  • Newly remodeled studio apartments, fully furnished and located near the facility, may be available for rent to travelers
  • Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exceptions

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Colorado PT license or compact privilege for Colorado required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3-5 years preferred
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Proof of current Flu vaccine required; no exemptions allowed
  • Candidate’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
