Lemberg Electric is looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team. What You'll Do

As a Junior Estimator , you'll support the estimating team by helping prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You'll :

  • Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope
  • Assist in calculating labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • Contact vendors and subcontractors for pricing and bids
  • Help prepare and organize bid proposals and supporting documents
  • Maintain estimate files, schedules, and spreadsheets
  • Participate in site visits to better understand project details
  • Collaborate closely with senior estimators and other preconstruction team members

What We're Looking For

Required :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
  • Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the construction / estimating field
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

    • Preferred :

  • Associate's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in construction, estimating, or electrical contracting
  • Familiarity with electrical drawings, take-offs, or estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.)
  • Strong math and analytical skills

    • Work Environment

    This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to local jobsites (up to 30%). Some lifting (up to 20 lbs) and extended computer work may be required. PPE is provided when visiting job sites.
