Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home rehabilitation services to older adults in Laconia and surrounding communities. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, you'll help patients regain mobility and independence through personalized treatment plans in the comfort of their homes or independent living facilities.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
  • Licensure : Valid PTA license (or eligibility)
  • Experience : Prior home health or geriatric experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills :

    • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities.

  • Experience with gait training and mobility interventions.
  • Soft Skills :

    • Strong communication and patient education abilities.

  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement treatment plans under PT supervision.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions including :

    • Therapeutic exercise programs.

  • Gait and balance training.
  • Pain management techniques.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.
  • Travel to patients' homes throughout the service area.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation team members.
