Accounts Receivable Team Leader

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Leader who will play a pivotal role in managing collections and ensuring the financial health of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for :

• Overseeing collection efforts by sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with overdue accounts, and coordinating with collection agencies as needed.
• Setting clear objectives for the accounts receivable team to drive performance aligned with departmental goals.
• Conducting thorough credit checks and reviewing lien waivers for accuracy.
• Engaging with clients to resolve non-payment issues through effective negotiation.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Reviewing and validating client refunds, debit and credit memos, and overseeing write-offs as necessary.
• Implementing and maintaining high-quality, legally compliant collection procedures.
• Providing daily support and training for the collections team to ensure adherence to established processes.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvements within the team.
• Staying informed on industry trends and legislative changes impacting accounts receivable operations.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
