Devops Engineer - Practitioner

Skills / Experience Required :

• 3+ years of experience in the following :
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, or C#
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS +
• Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton
• Experience with Linux system administration including Bash
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Experience with Version Control Systems such as Git, CVS, or SVN

Skills Preferred :

2+ years Infrastructure experience (GCP preferred) in one or more areas of public cloud or on-premise computing : Database, Storage, Network, Cloud-based development

Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog

Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or Rally

Ability to solve complex problems across multiple cloud services and applications

Strong advocate for DevOps mindset and culture, collaboration, flexibility, and cross domain knowledge

Experience with agile software development (i.e. Scrum or Kanban)
