American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current GA or Compact license for advanced cardiac and peripheral procedures.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures including left / right heart caths, PCI, angioplasty, stenting, pericardiocentesis, aortograms, peripheral angiograms, and device placementsAdult and cardiac-focused patient population including cases like CAD, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and tamponadeDay shifts, Monday to Friday, 4x10 hour schedule (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM) with a variable day offOn-call coverage required 10-14 days per month, including weekendsFloating may be required within facility and scope of practiceUnit accepts first-time travelersResponsibilities include supporting complex cardiac and peripheral interventions and operating specialized lab equipmentExpect to work assigned major holidays based on the number falling within assignment datesReturn travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year before returning as a travelerLocal candidates are accepted at the same rateRTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and none may be requested during the first week of assignmentNo blocked scheduling is permittedOrientation modules are completed during orientation and documented by transcriptsTravel pairs cannot be assigned the same shift on the same unit\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years' recent cath lab experience requiredCurrent GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)BLS certification requiredMust provide two supervisory references, manager or aboveMust be able to complete and schedule onboarding labs within 48 hours of signing contract\n Benefits\n
