We're hiring a full- or part-time Material Buyer - Procurement Specialist to help our growing Pittsburgh, PA business maintain a full inventory and minimize disruptions in our supply chain and procurement process. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Knowledge of cabinets or closet installation
  • Knowledge of CAD software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

    • Preferred Criteria :

  • Procurement experience
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or construction materials

    • YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

    You can work full- or part-time between the hours of 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm . Attention to detail, team collaboration, and proactive decision-making skills will be your keys to success. To become our Material Buyer - Procurement Specialist, you'll need to be able to perform the following :

  • Overseeing purchasing activities to ensure accurate material ordering, timely deliveries, and a seamless workflow
  • Collaborating with design, installation, and operations teams to learn and anticipate material needs
  • Coordinating with our primary vendor to order materials, meet production schedules, and resolve issues regarding quality, returns, or discrepancies
  • Reviewing designs to check for accuracy and functionality as well as accurately submitting purchase orders
  • Confirming orders, tracking deliveries, monitoring backorders, and maintaining inventory levels
