Senior Project Manager – Cybersecurity Strategy
Location : Hybrid (3 days onsite in Woodland Hills, CA)
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000 + up to 10% bonus
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to take on a strategic role focused on aligning business goals with cutting-edge technological advancements within the Cybersecurity domain. This individual will lead initiatives aimed at advancing the company’s cybersecurity maturity in partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) as the guiding standard.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the definition, stakeholder alignment, and execution of critical initiatives covering key focus areas such as :
- Govern : Establish processes for accountability and compliance.
- Identify : Detect potential threats and vulnerabilities in systems.
- Protect : Enhance defenses to secure the organization’s infrastructure.
- Detect : Proactively monitor for potential breaches or threats.
- Respond : Lead effective remediation efforts during cybersecurity incidents.
- Recover : Build organizational resilience to minimize downtime and ensure speedy restoration of operations.

Responsibilities :
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define cybersecurity objectives aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture across governance, threat identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery.Align technical execution with broader business goals to support enterprise strategy.Monitor risks proactively and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.Leverage data to measure project success and quantify progress in organizational cybersecurity maturity.Facilitate executive-level engagements and presentations to gain buy-in and ensure alignment on cybersecurity initiatives.Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources while mitigating risks.Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees / MBA preferred.Experience :Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on strategic engagements.Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation within Cybersecurity is highly preferred.Proven background engaging in high-impact, cross-functional projects in consulting or strategy roles at top-tier firms such as MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), LEK, Kearney, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, PwC Strategy& , Accenture Strategy, etc. Alternatively, candidates from Cybersecurity consulting tracks at Deloitte, EY, PwC, or Accenture are encouraged to apply.Skills :Strategic planning and stakeholder alignment to ensure projects meet long-term business goals.Familiarity with NIST CSF and cybersecurity best practices across governance, threat mitigation, and infrastructure protection.Expertise in Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®, etc.).Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure ROI and report performance metrics.Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and advanced threat monitoring processes.Excellent communication and leadership skills to facilitate executive engagements.Preferred Certifications :
