Show Room Host/Hostess - Eldorado (Reno)

Starting pay: $13.00 USD

JOB SUMMARY

The Showroom Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for guests visiting the showroom. This role supports customer service operations by greeting visitors, answering questions, and providing information about our services. The Showroom Host ensures a positive guest experience while maintaining showroom appearance and assisting the sales team as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)

• Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Provide basic product or service information and direct guests to appropriate staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom environment
• Manage guest check-in and ensure prompt assistance
• Answer incoming calls and respond to general inquiries
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks when needed
• Schedule appointments or demonstrations as required
• Assist in coordinating showroom displays and promotional materials
• Monitor inventory of brochures, forms, and guest materials
• Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office or similar)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)

• Loading shows may be hectic at times
• Non-smoking showroom

• Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded

• Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high

• Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range

• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity

• Work area is subject to variable temperatures

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
