Responsibilities Provide care in a critical access hospital's Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit Patient ratios vary from 1 : 1, 1 : 2, to 1 : 4 Responsible for mother and baby throughout all phases of OB care Required to float between units based on facility needs Night shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Weekend shifts are required on a variable basis Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation Scrub color is flexible; scrubs for OR provided Responsible for comprehensive care of both mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases Expected to assist in other units as needed and perform duties common to all nursing staff No on-call required for this role Completion of facility-specific modules is required before starting and annually thereafter Parking is provided at no cost Minimal RTO is allowed; all requests must be made up front and additional RTO may not be granted All travelers must be prepared to float within the facility as needed Requirements Active MT or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Minimum of 2 years of recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Experience with Epic EMR required Ability to float to other units and provide generalized nursing support as needed Two supervisory references from within the last three years required Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel position Returning employees must have a gap of at least 3 months before reapplying as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632461.
