Job Title : Assistant Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assistant Shift Supervisor to join our team. This direct hire position offers an opportunity to work Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, with the potential for additional hours on weekends. In this role, you will assist the shift supervisor in ensuring safety, production, and quality standards are met. Your hands-on approach, analytical skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail will be crucial.

Responsibilities

Ensure employees on shift are trained and understand job requirements, including how to run and load equipment.

Monitor quality requirements such as features, trim, and hand-inserted parts.

Collaborate with assembly and warehouse departments to ensure inventory accuracy of finished goods, work-in-progress, and scrap.

Complete material handling tasks during the shift.

Manage shift paperwork, including productivity reporting, quality checks, and rejects.

Assist maintenance, quality, and engineering departments as needed.

Train new employees on proper techniques and procedures.

Ensure the safety of yourself and coworkers by staying knowledgeable and compliant with all safety rules and policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift experience is mandatory as you will be performing forklift duties as a lead.

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Temporary management experience is a plus.

Quality experience is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00 / yr.
