We are seeking a passionate and skilled App Developer volunteer to join our dynamic team. As an App Developer, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and improving mobile applications that help drive the mission of FutureTech Foundation. Your work will contribute to providing seamless experiences for students, donors, and other community members, helping them navigate our platform, access educational content, and engage with our various programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
Collaborate with the design team to implement user-friendly interfaces.
Work with the backend team to ensure smooth data integration and functionality.
Support the FutureTech Foundation website and integrate mobile apps with existing web3 technologies.
Implement features that enable users to easily navigate educational content, track progress, and interact with FutureTech Foundation's various services.
Troubleshoot and debug app issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
Assist with continuous improvement, ensuring the app aligns with future trends and technologies.
Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
Adhere to best practices for app security and privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in mobile app development (Android and iOS) using technologies such as React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter.
Familiarity with backend integration (APIs, databases, etc.).
Understanding of Web3 technologies and blockchain-based applications is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Passion for technology and a keen interest in the FutureTech Foundation’s mission.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems.
Knowledge of integrating AI-driven features and chatbots into mobile applications.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
Understanding of cloud services and app hosting solutions.
