Nursing Student Earn as You Learn Program Spring 2026 Mercy Southeast - Cape Girardeau, MO Where Future Nurses Come to Grow! We understand you have invested time and resources into becoming a great nurse. Likewise, Mercy wants to invest in you as you answer your calling! Mercy's Earn As You Learn (EAYL) program provides LPN and RN senior level nursing students from participating schools the opportunity to receive a $2,000 (taxed) stipend for the completion of their senior practicum (last semester) at a Mercy hospital. Students will receive structured support throughout their senior practicum with various members of Mercy leadership, including supervisors, clinicians, and nurse managers. This is an opportunity to build professional connections and secure a position post-graduation! To participate, students must commit to a bedside nursing position post graduation. This post-graduation professional commitment is 6 months. Ideally, senior practicum assignments should be obtained on the same unit as desired position. Please apply as soon as possible, as spots are limited. Qualifications : Education : Enrolled in a board-certified nursing program preparing for senior practicum.
