MEMCO is hiring for an Data Entry/Shipping & Receiving Clerk position in Round Rock, TX!
Job Title: Data Entry/Shipping&Receiving Clerk
Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (with occasional Saturdays)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Clerk who is comfortable working both in the warehouse and on the computer. This position requires flexibility, as duties will vary by the day, with approximately 60% of the time spent on the computer and 40% in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and able to manage both inventory and communications with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack and Ship Orders: Ensure accurate and timely packing and shipment of customer orders.
Receiving and Processing Shipments: Unload incoming shipments, verify items, and process inventory into the system.
Manage and Organize Inventory: Keep track of stock levels, organize inventory, and perform regular counts to ensure accuracy.
Order Incoming Install Jobs: Assist in processing orders for installation jobs and ensure materials are available.
Fill Warehouse Orders: Pick and prepare materials for orders as needed.
Manage and Organize Receivings from Install Jobs: Organize materials returned from installation jobs and ensure they are properly logged and stored.
Communicate with Install Department: Provide updates on inventory and material availability to the install team.
Assist Technicians: Help technicians pick the necessary materials for jobs.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Comfortable using computers and warehouse management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with various departments.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Previous warehouse or inventory experience is a plus.
Additional Information:
This position requires working both in the warehouse and in an office setting.
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required depending on workload.
