The QA / QC Inspector Level 2 is responsible for Receiving Inspection, In-Process inspection, and Final Inspection and for ensuring the quality of materials used in products, the quality of workmanship and compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

Specific responsibilities and Authorities may include :

• Ensure that the Quality Management System is carried out to achieve planned results.
• Ensure the quality of finished goods when appropriate.
• Input QA / QC information into Web QMS.
• Inspect incoming raw materials.
• Conduct dimensional inspection based on the purchase order or the appropriate drawings.
• Prepare identification stencils and marking.
• Take test samples to appropriated laboratories.
• Shop inspections of the production and the packaging processes.
• Monitor and record QC inspection reports.
• Conduct and document final inspections.
• Provide support for shipping.
• Answer technical questions, contacting suppliers when needed.
• Assisting the QA Level 1 with SIT / Huber’s Calibration program, ensuring that all equipment which requires calibration is entered into Web QMS and is up-to-date.
• File quality-related paperwork, such as dimensional reports, as per ISO procedures,
• Inspecting finished products being shipped are properly built to the required specifications.
• Interface with Management, Operations and Purchasing on discrepant materials.
• Move to other areas as needed (production, fill-in work, etc.) when their specific area is not available.
• Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 and understand the implications of not complying with the quality management system.
• Other duties as assigned.
