Job description

JOB SUMMARY

CANDIDATE MUST BE US Citizen, Onshore (due to contractual / access requirements).

Pittsburgh Location Requirement : If the candidate is within 50 miles of either the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill campuses, then they are expected to be in the office on Tue / Wed / Thu; otherwise they will be fully remote.

This role supports analytical aspects of the application product life cycle, including capability enablement with cross?team dependencies within a product scope. The analyst collaborates with customers to understand capability needs, gather project specifications, create business cases and cost analyses, translate high?level business needs into detailed requirements for new capabilities and change requests / enhancements, analyze data to identify problems, trends or opportunities for process improvements, create and execute test cases, perform root cause analysis and corrective action, verify delivery of customer needs, and ensure quality delivery. Responsibilities also include identifying, documenting and resolving risks, defects and issues, analyzing market trends for competitive insight, and mentoring junior analysts. Serves as SME on moderately complex projects that may be cross?functional with regulatory risk exposure and customer service / financial impacts. Acts as the face to the customer and leads or participates as SME on projects and enhancements, with an understanding of end?to?end processes and potential integration issues across multiple systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take a lead role with customers, Software Engineers, Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions on complex issues. Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements, testing plans and scenarios, testing outcomes, user task analysis, wireframes, usability testing, personalization, and user interface design.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle on agile scrum teams in various roles (e.g., Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, User Interface designer, Capability Manager, or Tester) based on experience and need.
  • Provide required business and / or subject matter expertise for project and production activities on complex issues, including new strategic programs or initiatives impacting current systems.
  • Ensure compliance with required standards and obtain necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interface with business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value, ROI and innovative solutions; include cost benefit analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions.
  • Lead requirements testing activities (planning, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to minimize production defects and analyze results in relation to customer impact.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, customers, partners and management; conduct requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews; report project status and document solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction in Product and Technology Solutions.

    Pay Range Minimum : $67,500.00

    Pay Range Maximum : $126,000.00

    Base pay is determined by qualifications, experience, and other factors. The salary range may vary by location.
