Job Title : Configuration Analyst
Location : Cambridge, MA - Onsite
Type : Full Time
Work Authorization : Must be US Citizen and Eligible for a Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of configuration management (CM) processes and procedures in accordance with industry standards and company policies
- Participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Design Review Board (DRB) meetings, providing CM expertise and input
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and program management teams to ensure CM processes align with program goals
- Generate and distribute CM reports and metrics to provide visibility into the status of configuration items and change objects
- Assist senior CM personnel in preparing and conducting configuration audits and reviews
- Resolve configuration-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
- Support the release process by verifying the accuracy and completeness of change documentation
- Contribute to monthly updates and deliveries of revised work products
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in configuration management or a closely related fieldFoundational knowledge of CM principles, practices, and standardsFamiliarity with military and commercial CM specifications, including ANSI / EIA-649, ASME Y14, MIL-STD-31000, and MIL-STD-961Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management system requirementsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective time management with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with configuration management tools such as PLM databasesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesClear and professional communication skillsEducation
