Senior Salesforce Developer (Hybrid - Acton, MA)

Position Overview :

Insulet, makers of the Omnipod pump for Type 1 Diabetes, is one of the fastest-growing medical device companies in the industry, and we are expanding our Salesforce Development team! Insulet has been a Salesforce customer for many years and leverages a wide range of platform capabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver projects across multiple Salesforce clouds, including Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data 360, and Agentforce.

Working in a dynamic, collaborative environment, the successful candidate will design and implement new Salesforce solutions and maintain existing functionality. The Senior Salesforce Developer will focus on solutions for our Experience Cloud portals, call center support, marketing automation, data management, and sales / field rep modules. The ideal candidate will hold Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer II certifications and have several years of hands-on experience in these areas. Experience with middleware integration is a strong plus.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Build and enhance applications using the Lightning framework for internal and external users.
• Support ongoing production Salesforce instances to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain documentation for workflows, data migration plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solutions, including trade-off analysis.
• Collaborating with Mulesoft integration developers to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., marketing automation, ERP).
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and mentor junior developers.
• Communicate effectively with IT leaders and business stakeholders regarding project status, enhancements, and production support.

Compensation & Benefits : For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $124,800.00 - $187,200.00This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including :
