Powder Coater / Material Handler
Location : Manitowoc
Pay : $18-20ph depending on experience
Schedule :
Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4pm
Overtime : Most Fridays, 6am - 4pm
Occasional Saturdays, 6am - 12pm
We’re looking for a dependable, motivated team player to join our clients production crew as a Powder Coater / Material Handler . This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in hands-on work, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and likes seeing the results of their effort at the end of the day.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and inspect parts before coating
Apply powder coating using spray guns, hoppers, and booth systems
Monitor gauges and equipment for proper operation
Perform visual and mechanical quality checks (paint flow, viscosity, coating quality)
Bake and cure parts according to specifications
Load and unload parts or products safely and efficiently
Maintain and clean coating equipment regularly
Assist with minor repairs or maintenance as needed
Follow all company quality and safety standards to ensure top results and a safe workspace

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Willingness to learn and take direction
Prior powder coating experience is a plus — but we’ll train the right person!
Forklift certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
High School Diploma or GED required
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
