Responsibilities Work in a diagnostic imaging setting with focus on radiography Varied shifts including day and evening coverage Average of 3 on-call days per month Must be willing to float to other nursing departments as needed Patient care includes a range of diagnostic radiology cases Utilizes Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment 13-week contract assignment All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours before assignment start for clearance Candidates must arrive on island the Friday prior to a Monday start for HR and Employee Health appointments No guarantee of hours or time off Facility may terminate assignment for cause at its discretion Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by assignment start date Current ARRT certification required Current BLS certification required Demonstrated proficiency in operation of radiographic equipment Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols Must have a dosimeter badge Experience with Meditech EMR and specified imaging equipment preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609692.
