Job Summary

The Manufacturing Buyer is a senior-level procurement role responsible for managing purchasing activities across the manufacturing operation. This role requires a highly organized and proactive professional who can operate independently and contribute to the development of a more efficient, technology-enabled supply chain. Experience using advanced supply chain systems and / or a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. The Manufacturing Buyer will be expected to identify and implement improvements to existing procurement processes, leverage data to support strategic decisions, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
