Operations Research Analyst Senior

Energy Cognito LLC seeks Operations Research Analyst, Senior to work apply advanced operations research techniques to solve complex operational and commercial problems in the power markets. Position requires : Master’s degree in Operations Research Industrial Engineering or Power Market related Engineering or Science Program 48 months of experience in Operations Research or related occupation Must have 4 years of development and business experience working in the US power market operation Must have 4 years of development and business experience working in the Japanese power market operation Must have 4 years of experience working with ETRM software / system and Production Cost Model tools (e.g., UPLAN and Dayzer) for power system operation modeling and simulation Must have 4 years of experience implementing optimization models and system integration, including operation data pipeline integration and user interface support. Must have 4 years of development experience with Python, .NET, and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) skills Up to 15% domestic or international travel may be required. Job location : Austin, TX.
