Medicus is partnering with a medical center in Des Moines, Iowa, with an opening for a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Highlights :

Schedule : 24-hour in-house call shifts, 7a-7a

Setting : 8-bed OBED

Annual Volume : 1,390 OBED visits, 460 deliveries

Duties : OBED visits, emergent deliveries, and patients without a primary OB / GYN; no GYN duties

Support Staff : MFM on call, residents

Imaging, lab, and pharmacy onsite

EMR : Epic

Board certification required
