About the Role :
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Fine Dining Restaurants (Asian Concepts) to oversee operations for multiple high-profile fine dining concepts in the Orange County area. This hybrid role requires one day a week at our Rosemead office and offers the unique opportunity to work closely with the founder on shaping the future of our brands.
The ideal candidate is a humble, open-minded leader who values feedback, thrives in a collaborative environment, and balances big-picture strategy with the ability to “roll up their sleeves” when needed. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, creating innovative dining experiences, and fostering guest loyalty.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Oversight : Oversee the operations of multiple fine dining concepts, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and consistency.Strategic Planning : Develop and execute annual plans to drive new guest visits, increase guest frequency, and achieve revenue and profitability targets.Menu & Drink Innovation : Collaborate with chefs and beverage teams to conceptualize and implement exciting new menu offerings that align with brand identity.Collaboration with Founder : Partner closely with the founder to bring their vision to life while maintaining operational feasibility and excellence.Team Development : Recruit, train, and mentor management and staff, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.Guest Experience : Ensure every guest has an exceptional dining experience by maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.Operational Execution : Balance strategic oversight with hands-on support as needed, from solving on-site challenges to coaching teams directly.Performance Management : Monitor KPIs, financial reports, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions effectively.Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 8 years in fine dining restaurant operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit leadership role.Strategic & Hands-On : Proven ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and involved in daily operations.Innovation : Experience with menu and beverage program development is highly desirable.Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with executives and founders.Humble Leadership : Open to feedback, adaptable, and focused on team and organizational success over personal ego.Skills : Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Hybrid Role Flexibility : Willingness to work one day per week in the Rosemead office.Benefits :
