Key Job Details – L&D RN Travel Nurse Location : Morgantown, WV 26506 (West Virginia nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – The Birthing Center Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : October 17, 2025 End Date : December 12, 2025 Assignment Duration : 8 weeks Shifts : 3x12-hour day shifts / week (7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm), plus 24 hours of call time per 4-week period Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,160–$2,310 Weekend / Holiday : Rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting West Virginia licensure) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Proficiency with EPIC EMR and IV placement Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Ability to float within the L&D unit as needed Must provide an unexpired driver’s license Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement) L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in a 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 8-bed triage, and 17-bed postpartum area Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods Utilize GE Corometrics Fetal Monitoring and EPIC charting systems for patient care documentation Collaborate with OB / GYN physicians, Neonatologists, nurse aides, and OB techs as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-risk labor and antepartum situations Participate in unit orientation and comply with policies for weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements Maintain optimal patient ratios : 1 : 1 in active labor, 1 : 3 in triage, and 1 : 6 in postpartum / mom-baby care Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Morgantown, WV.
