System Hospitalist Director Opening in Tennessee Located in historic Johnson City - 25 miles from Kingsport, TN Full-time, permanent opening Hospital employedA professionally managed employed medical group, is seeking a System Hospitalist Director for facilities in both Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Director Profile : 40% Administrative, 60% Clinical Drive, support, and model a service-oriented culture focused on physician & APP engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, and fiscal responsibility. Provide clinical support for physicians on shift. Supervise 6 practice locations with the assistance of Site Directors at hub facilities. Shadow and coach, assist with onboarding and mentoring new physicians, recruiting, and strategic planning. Build and maintain strong, open, collegial, and supportive relationships with other executives and hospital leaders. Develop cross-disciplinary clinical integration to provide a seamless patient experience. Support FM and IM residency programs in multiple facilities. Support population health management efforts. Provide Quality Review and Assurance, including Peer to Peer feedback.
