ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement

    • \n

  • Holiday rotation with permanent staff

    • \n

  • 16-bed ICU unit with 1 : 2 patient ratios, occasionally 1 : 3

    • \n

  • Care for variety of ICU acuity patients including ventilated patients, BIS scoring, TTM, and rarely IABP

    • \n

  • Required to titrate drips including vasopressors / inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and insulin

    • \n

  • May float to PCU or Medical / Surgical units as needed

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue

    • \n

  • Driver's license required at submittal to verify 50-mile radius requirement

    • \n

  • Navy blue scrub color requirement

    • \n

  • Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination

    • \n

  • Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit affiliated facility

    • \n

  • Classroom orientation followed by 2 twelve-hour shifts of unit-specific orientation

    • \n

  • 6-week scheduling done by scheduler

    • \n

  • EPIC charting system

    • \n

  • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

    This acute care healthcare facility features a 16-bed intensive care unit providing comprehensive critical care services. The facility offers eICU support in 14 rooms and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized equipment and protocols. The organization emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among nursing staff to deliver quality care to critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions and monitoring.
