Critical Care Medicine (CCM) at Stanford Health Care is a leading program that draws local, national, and international referrals. The Emergency Critical Care (ECC) Division is a key part of this multidisciplinary program, providing care in the medical-surgical intensive care units at Stanford, focusing on triage, resuscitation, and early interventions to improve the care of critically ill patients regardless of location within the hospital. The Emergency Critical Care Division Chief contributes critical input into all aspects of patient care and co-leads strategic operational, educational, and scholarly efforts. Stanford's competitive CCM fellowship programs continue to attract some of the brightest future intensivists.
