Lead Clinician

The ORR Hummingbird team in El Paso, TX is hiring a Clinical Lead! Bring your clinical, trauma-informed expertise and leadership to our team supporting youth in achieving timely reunification!

CPLC manages the Hummingbird Project for unaccompanied minors in need of culturally competent whole wellness care. CPLC has 53 years of demonstrated quality experience serving the community as a high-trust organization. Each minor in our care receives case management, education, healthcare, and legal services in a trauma-informed system.

Schedule :

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm -  Schedule subject to change based on the program needs, and may sometimes include evenings or weekends.

OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure goal-oriented psychosocial diagnostic assessments, service plans and progress reports are completed for the clinical department. Ensure clinicians complete children’s groups weekly on specific topics and issues. Ensure the clinical department meets all state and federal requirements. Meet all pre-determined deadlines required by chain of command and federal partners. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position provides routine consultation and supervision of clinicians.

Credentials, Skills and Abilities :

• Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to :
• First Aid, CPR and Emergency Behavior Intervention
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
• Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
• Pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional composure at all times.
• Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
• Maintainecomputer literacy required by the position, including data collection and reporting.
• Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
