Pubkey is hub for both in-person and online bitcoin-focused content, using the backdrop of the bar as a way to welcome conversation, education, and community-building.

In addition to serving the bitcoin community, Pubkey is a neighborhood staple serving cold beer, great cocktails, and excellent food. And we're open late.

We're looking for engaging bartenders to make the most out of their shifts and maintain high levels of service. Pubkey is expanding, there is career growth potential here for the motivated individual. Current take home pay is excellent.

Position Overview :

PubKey Bartenders will bring a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will play the crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our patrons have an exceptional dining and drinking experience.

Responsibilities :

• Mixology Expertise : Craft and serve a diverse range of high-quality beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, adhering to PubKey NYC's standards of excellence - batching in particular is important.
• Customer Service : Interact with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders, making recommendations, and providing an exceptional overall experience.
• Event Service : Provide friendly and professional services for weekly themed events. This includes taking drink orders, making recommendations, and providing an exceptional overall experience
• Menu Knowledge : Demonstrate a thorough understanding of PubKey NYC's food and beverage menu, including specials, and be able to guide customers in their selections.
• Efficient Service : Manage and prioritize drink orders, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of service during peak hours.
• Cleanliness and Organization : Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workspaces, following health and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless operations.
• Upselling : Proactively suggest and upsell additional items, promoting special drinks and encouraging guests to try new offerings.
• Compliance : Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol, including checking identification and monitoring guest intoxication levels.
