Job Summary
This position requires operating a forklift in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor, paved and unpaved environment. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate Forklift Safety to move product into inventory / onto and off a truck
- Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods
- Properly label product and package product for inventory
- Ensure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standards
- Load trucks with the finished product for delivery
- Before loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipment
- Complete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment
Job Requirements
At least a High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experienceAbility to read and interpret loading slips, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsFollow all safety proceduresAbility to carry out instructions, both written and oralMathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding of units of measureAble to work any shiftThe employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 50lbs. Occasionally the employee may need to lift up to 65lbs, should this be the case, employees should engage in team lifting and / or use the provided equipment to safely liftBilingual in English and Spanish preferredForklift CertifiedAbility to work in a team environmentPrevious experience in a manufacturing environmentWhat CRH Offers You
