Overview
A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with private equity held portfolio companies to preserve and generate value for their businesses. The goal is to improve transparency to key drivers and business performance, support increasing cash and EBITDA, and provide hands-on involvement in clients’ operations. The team supports PE firms to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the ability to execute and deliver financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Digital Finance Transformation Expertise with proven implementation experience
- Assess Finance and Accounting functions and implement Digital technologies to improve efficiency and transparency (RPA, Finance Analytics, NLG, Predictive Forecasting models)
- Finance & Accounting process improvement and automation
- Knowledge of Digital Finance tools and vendors; experience implementing Digital tools for Finance in large public corporations or PE-owned portfolio companies
- Lead hypothesis / scope development : gather information, conduct interviews, define analyses needed, identify drivers, develop frameworks, and translate analyses into actionable conclusions
- Project management and implementation; lead components of projects with multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently
- Manage client expectations and minimize risks; develop actionable plans and lead workstreams; design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements; optimize organizational structure to drive client value
- Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans; communicate timely with client; engage with senior management and secure buy-in
- Lead and mentor teams, leverage industry expertise, and promote innovative and analytical thinking
- Maintain client relationships during project duration and drive change management using available tools and resources
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited 4-year college / university in accounting, finance, economics or related field preferred but not requiredExperience in Digital Finance technologies, including RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, data visualization12+ years of experience in Accounting / Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private EquityStrong understanding of financial models, data analytics, and presentation skillsCPA, CFA, MBA or Master’s Degree preferred but not requiredJob Details
