Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities within the facility to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the logistics and distribution environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time
As a Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties.
