Responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager

• Manage hourly employees, including performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Review applications, interview, and recommend or make hiring decisions for hourly staff.
• Direct staff work, including scheduling and task assignment before, during, and after restaurant hours.
• Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate and schedule training for Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Supervise food production and preparation, ensuring compliance with recipes and procedures.
• Conduct formal taste tests and temperature checks.
• Enforce security measures to maintain safety for employees and guests.
• Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs through weekly inventory.
• Practice safe food handling procedures.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with our core values and goals.
