The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing court-involved youth to be successful citizens. The Virginia Public Safety Training Center is seeking a Fiscal Technician. This position provides assistance to the Business Operations Manager by promptly and accurately responding to emails in reference to travel documentation and reimbursements. Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

• Meets with travel classes at the end of each training sessions to answer questions along with retrieving required forms;
• Serves as back up for entering purchase orders in the eVA system;
• Serves as back up for data input of all expenditures and travel reimbursements in Cardinal;
• Retrieves, sorts, and date stamps all business office mail;
• Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders;
• Assists with other assigned projects.

Please note this is a wage position. This position will work 29 hours or less per week, with no benefits.
