Position Profile :

• Average daily census of 50-65 patients
• Physician average 15-20 encounters
• Advanced Practice Provider average 10-18 encounters
• 1 dedicated nocturnist
• 7 on / 7 off block schedules
• 2 daytime physicians 6a-6p, 1 nocturnist 6p-6a
• 36 hours of physician coverage daily
• Open ICU must have ICU experience
• No procedures
• Envision Physician Services also manages the Emergency Department program
• BC / BE Family or Internal Medicine
• W2 status with comprehensive benefits package

Nacogdoches Medical Center is a 150- bed General Acute Center with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. There is full representation of specialties including Neurosurgery and a responsive Medical Staff. The team consists of experienced professionals and offers a full range of medical services, including Neurosurgery, Spine and Joint Care, comprehensive Cardiology, Cancer Treatment, and Women s Health / OBGYN. Nacogdoches is a Level IV Trauma center and Level II NICU.

In the spring of 2021, Nacogdoches Medical Center received its 12th A from the Leapfrog Group, an independent organization that rates hospital safety. NMC was the only hospital within 70 miles to achieve a letter A grade for the spring reporting period. Additionally, NMC was the only hospital within 100 miles to receive an A for the twelfth consecutive reporting period.
