Task 4- Principal Civil Engineer Staff Augmentation

Consultant reports under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Public

Works / City Engineer direct, manage, supervise the Engineering Division.

Work shall include but not limited to :

• Consultant will conceptualize, develop, design, and implement all phases of difficult design and engineering research projects.
• Manage major capital improvements projects, which includes contract.
• administration; project schedule coordination; management of consultants and staff; coordination of consultant work, utilities, staff, other public agencies.
• Make presentations to the City Council, City Manager, and other boards and commissions, business organizations and homeowner's association.
• Supervise and review the work of professional and technical staff engaged in the preparation and / or review of plans, specifications, maps, designs, estimates, and inspections of capital improvement, construction,

development, and maintenance projects.
