QuaverEd, Inc is an educational technology company located on Music Row in Nashville, TN. We are seeking creative, experienced, and qualified educators to join our QuaverHealth team.
Salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 based on education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Write, design, and review resources for the QuaverEdHealth PE curriculum.
- Develop educational activities, lesson plans, units of study, assessments, and differentiation strategies for the PE website.
- Maintain and update text databases and documents using Google Suite.
- Collaborate with writers, field experts, teachers, software developers, audio engineers, and graphic artists.
- Lead engaging training sessions, presentations, and / or lectures for educators and administrators (1-2 times per year).
- Edit, proofread, and apply feedback to revise work.
- Create digital mock-ups for interactive screens and diagrams for PE games and activities with high attention to detail.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; experience or certification in teaching physical education, health, and / or general classes in an elementary school setting.Working knowledge of National and / or state-specific Health and / or PE standards and student expectations.Certification or experience with educational strategies, methodologies, and theories related to health education, PE, Coordinated School Health programs, or Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child framework.Robust research skills and a desire to be an expert on children's health education and / or physical education trends and expectations.Experience leading engaging training sessions, presentations, and / or lectures for educators and administrators.Knowledge of curriculum-design models and educational strategies related to general education, such as culturally responsive teaching, universal design for learning, strategies for dual language learners, project-based learning, and Understanding by Design.Additional Relevant Qualifications
Experience conducting research in children's health.Experience implementing modifications and accommodations for students receiving IEP services, including Adapted PE.Experience teaching a culturally diverse population.Understanding of publishing law and public domain status for activities and images.Work Location & Remote Policy
The role is not a remote work position. All employees must live within commuting distance of Music Row in Nashville. Team members are required to work at least 3 days a week in the office on the QuaverEd campus, with a maximum of 2 days remote. This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the team member's Supervisor and company policies.
