Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an 8-week Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU holiday contract requiring floating to multiple units and a valid OH or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with options for 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Floating to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units is required as needed
  • Assignment is holiday-focused with no time off permitted
  • 8-week contract with mandatory start date by December 1
  • Provide specialized care to critically ill pediatric cardiovascular patients
  • Preparedness for floating to multiple pediatric and acute care units is essential
  • Strict policy on attendance and punctuality is enforced
  • No call or on-call requirements for this position
  • Contract does not allow for requested time off (RTO)

  • Active OH State or Compact RN license required
  • At least 2 years of recent RN experience in a relevant setting is preferred
  • Two supervisory references are required, with at least one titled supervisor or manager
  • Must not have worked in a permanent position for this health system within the past 2 years
  • No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
