Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a
full-time, mission-minded, board certified or eligible
pulmonologist with the option of covering the intensive care unit
as a critical care attending physician. The incumbent will join a
high-quality, collegial, multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to
whole-person, patient-centered care, in a welcoming environment for
families. This is a unique lifetime, career opportunity for someone
who seeks a full-spectrum pulmonary care practice, including
inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunity for critical
care in a community based practice environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Provide inpatient consults
and follow-ups
Conduct comprehensive
pulmonary evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Diagnose and manage conditions such as
asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension,
and sleep disorders
Order and interpret
diagnostic tests including imaging and pulmonary function tests
Perform bronchoscopies and manage other
pulmonary procedures (as credentialed)
Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and
emergency department teams for coordinated care
Diagnose and manage chronic respiratory
conditions, promote preventive care and patient education for
long-term disease management in clinic
