Junior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our Finance department. This position will support accounts receivable and billing processes.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate customer invoices and send them through customer portals and emails.
• Maintain customer accounts, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing errors, payment discrepancies, and customer billing disputes.
• Prepare analytical analysis relevant to accounts receivable.
• Post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Participate in yearly physical inventory.
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Work on special projects as requested by management.

Essential Skills :

Work Environment :

This role is based on-site, working closely with a team of three other accounting professionals. The position involves working five days per week in a collaborative environment known for its supportive company culture. The organization is a growing European company with potential growth opportunities if the role transitions to permanent status.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blauvelt, NY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
